Do I get a tax deduction for my donation?
Yes! Resonate – A Piano Charity is a registered 501(c)(3) organization, and all donations—whether financial, service-based, or in the form of a piano—are fully tax-deductible.
If I donate a piano, will you pick it up?
Yes. If your piano is accepted as a donation, we will coordinate professional piano movers in your area to handle pickup and delivery. We aim to match pianos directly with recipients nearby to avoid storage or cross-country transport when possible.
Is there a commitment if I sign up as a tuner or entertainer?
Not at all. Our goal is to build a nationwide network of piano technicians and entertainers that we can call on when a need arises in your area. There’s no regular commitment—we’ll simply reach out if something aligns with your skills and location.
Can I get paid as a Resonate tuner or entertainer?
Yes. We love when people want to donate their time and talent, but if we have funding and a service opportunity in your area, you will absolutely be paid for your work.
Do you accept pianos anywhere in the U.S.?
We’re based in Nashville, so Middle Tennessee is our primary service area to start. However, we review all piano donation offers on a case-by-case basis. If we can match your piano with someone in your area, we’ll do our best to make it happen.
